.Reader
: Brethren, this is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance. For to this end we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe. These things command and teach. Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership. Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all. Take heed to yourself to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.Priest: Peace be with you reader.
Reader: And with your spirit. Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia.
Verse: It is good to give thanks unto the Lord, to sing praises to Thy Name, O Most-High!
Verse: To declare Thy mercy in the morning, and Thy truth by night!

The holy Angels in our faith and life. /Continued from last Sunday’s Bulletin/
5) Archangel Jeremiel - in Hebrew word meaning “God’s height” In our alter next to Archangel Barachiel. He appears in Scripture in the book (3 Ezdra 4:16) Archangel of the Eighth Day, day of perfection, day which we expect to come. The day of the Resurrection of our Lord, and day of His coming again to judge the living and the dead. This day will be without end, the day of eternity. The six days of God creating the world, everything visible and invisible. On the seventh day, Saturday God rested. On the eighth day, day of perfection which is Sunday God - Man resurrected. Archangel Jeremiel is the one who will lead us into eternity.
6) Archangel Jegudiel - means “glorifier of God” or “beauty of God” He ceaselessly guides creation in the glorification of the Creator. Under the name Jophiel, derived from the verb “to burn.” His color is the deep blue, signifying his aspiration to aid in the final stages of a man’s spiritual perfection. He intercedes to see that men receive just rewards for their efforts.
7) Archangel Uriel - means “light of God” or “fire of God.” He appears in Scripture in the book ( 3 Ezdra 5:16) By helping to bury Adam and Abel, he showed humanity how it should bury its dead. By speaking the words of the Lord, he warned Noah of the impending Flood and gave mankind another chance. For Esdras he interpreted visions and prophecies. However, his fiery presence also links him with the underworld (Enoch 1 20:1) His merciless fire tests the deeds of men once they die. If his fire devours their works, they suffer punishment; but if his fire spares their works, their reward is salvation. Green is his particular color, signifying his concern for the spiritual illumination of mankind.
8) Archangel Gabriel - means “might of God” he is one “who stands in the presence of God” (Luke 1:19) He is know primarily as the messenger of special revelations and good news. In the Old Testament, Daniel states that Gabriel explained to him the meaning of two visions, that of the ram and he-goat (Daniel 8:15-26) and prophesied the end of the Jewish exile and the coming of the Messiah. He is associated with the annunciation to the Mother of God (Luke 1:11-20) He is usually identified as the angel who twice appeared in a dream to Christ’s foster father Joseph. (Matthew 1:20-21) At the Second Coming, he will blow his trumpet to free human souls from the hands of Satan and to reawaken the dead so that each soul may reunite with its body. His color is orange. He tends to be depicted in an orange-red outer garment over a blue.
Below the Archangels are the Angels who have the most intimate interaction with humanity. They proclaim God’s will and fortify those of us in danger of falling. They report our sins but help us repent. At times they even protect us from physical harm. Psalm 90 (91) :11 says that God “has given his angels charge over thee; to guard thee in all thy ways.” They are our Guardian Angels. Acts 12:15. St. basil the Great writes that “every believer has an angel to guide him as a teacher and a shepherd.” This angel remains with us, “provided we do not drive him out by sin.”
Within humanity exists the continuation of the original war in heaven between good and evil. (Apocalypse 12:7-9) A Good Angel defends the good within each of us. A Demonic or Evil Angel urges us toward evil. /Will continue in next Sunday’s Bulletin/

Pray for the sick. The Lord said: “Do unto others as you would want them do unto you.” So if we will be sick, we will ask help from God, we will ask priests and people to pray for us. In order for the Lord to listen to us when we are sick, we need to pray for those who are sick. O Lord our God, Who by Your Word alone healed all diseases; Who cured the Mother-in-law of Apostle Peter of fever; Who chastises with pity and heals according to Your goodness; Who are able to put aside every malady and infirmity: Do You the same Lord, now relieve Your servants: Fr. Michael Michalopolos, Scott Shirk, Audrey Klym, Valerie Melnychenko, Kevin Terpak, Emilia Lewkowicz, John Karaim, Mildred Charnetsky, Mary & Walter Gulachok, Mary Gormish, Olga Gooley, Mary Ford, Mary Mihalko, Margaret Klish, Marlyn Klish, Cypryan Klish II , Sophia Malowicky, Genevieve Sadowitz, Michael Sr. Duby, Anne & Karen Girnis, Paul Laszko, Julie Sadowitz, Catherine Dobransky, Maria Dudack, Pelahia Kit, Charles Stasko, Stephania Moroz, Mildred Bogdan, Natalia Boser, Wasyl Krawecki, Meghan Scannell, Olga Drost, Mary Evanchoff, Marion Kaspryk, and cure them of the sicknesses which grieves them; lift them up from their beds of pain, sending down upon them Your mercy; and if it be Your will, give to them health and a complete recovery. For You are the Physician of our souls and bodies, and to You we ascribe glory: to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages, Amen
